Diagnostic Data: OBD2 sensor readings, fault codes, and health scores collected during vehicle scans.

Usage Data: App interaction patterns, feature usage, and crash reports to improve our service.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide and improve the Cars Guru service, including AI-powered diagnostics, personalized recommendations, maintenance reminders, and customer support.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Vehicle data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our cloud service using Firebase.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Firebase (authentication & database), Google Analytics (anonymous usage analytics), and RevenueCat (subscription management).

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Vehicle data may be processed by AI services to provide diagnostic analysis, but is not shared with other users or companies.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, or port your personal data. You can request these actions by contacting us.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Cars Guru is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App or via email.
